This is ridiculous on so many levels. Thanks go to Nimish for sharing a great find.

Maybe Someday.
I posted an earlier video by Sam O'Hare sometime last year and this second one is a doozy. I saw it a while back and have been meaning to share for some time. I've never been to Coachella but I've always heard amazing things and O'Hare's work seems to confirm all of them. One of these days, right?

MAN IN A BLIZZARD
Dang. What a great little short. I came across this on Galen's blog and then found a high-res version on Vimeo. So glad I did because the better quality makes the video even more excellent.
Its original title is listed as "Idiot with a Tripod" but the video itself has been making the rounds and apparently Roger Ebert coined a new title for it. Ebert's title, "Man in a Blizzard," seems fitting to me. There's nothing idiotic about this video anyway.

Poorboyz Does It Again And Again
Oh. My. God.
I've been out of the ski loop for a bit so I'm a little late to the party with this. It's been a few years since I last ordered and watched a Poorboyz film but it looks like they're still doing it big. It might be time to order another flick and get my head back into things because this stuff is AMAZING.
Do click play. And enjoy.

It's Alright To Wander.
We should probably do it more often.

San Fran. Everyone's Going.
Another nice collection of time lapses.
Lately it seems that everyone I know is either currently living in San Francisco or will be living there soon. Ok, maybe not everyone but the group keeps getting bigger and bigger.

THE DBA 98 PEN.
A nice concept and a great little video to present it. A pen capable of generating change and having a positive impact on our planet by making a minimal impact to the planet. I hope that makes sense. via Max Wanger.

7ft. In Four Days
Wasatch Spring Skiing from Ian Provo on Vimeo.
It's May. Are you kidding me?! See Ian's post here for some photos and the full scoop on the spring storm that just dumped all over Utah.
What I would do to be skiing in Utah tomorrow morning instead of going to work...

Kate Spade Opens A Surprise Ball
Untitled from kate spade new york on Vimeo.
My mom's Surprise Balls have popped up on the interwebs again! Kate Spade recently opened one and made a little film to document the process. Very cool. It's pretty awesome to see my mom's creations in the hands of other creative people. I think the folks that shot the ironing film that I posted last week should make a short of someone opening a Surprise Ball. Can you even imagine how incredible that could be?
Yeah, Mom!

I Will Train To Do This
“Ironing techniques by professional craftsmen (shirt)” - プロの職人によるアイロンがけテクニック(ワイシャツ)
This short instructional film showcases unmatchably masterful ironing technique that we’d all do well to learn from, but it’s also one of the most absorbing, delicious demo videos I’ve ever seen.
via Joel Zimmer, from a series of similarly beautiful instructional videos at Garra.jp(WARNING: ALL-FLASH and Japanese)
I know it's strange and maybe even a little sick but I definitely want to be able to iron a shirt with this type of skill, speed, and precision. People who really know me know that this is right up my alley. Look at that iron and that ironing table! Ah, wants and aspirations. It's a beautifully shot piece, too. The imagery, the sounds; all of it is just gorgeous.
Yes, I just used the word gorgeous to describe a video of an Asian man ironing a shirt.
So what? Enjoy the video and thanks to Mom for sending this to me. Found at Put This On.

Too Good To Be True
The Sandpit from Sam O'Hare on Vimeo.
This little video is brilliant! There's so much to look at and I can't for the life of me stop watching it. See it here on the blog or watch it on Vimeo and view it in HD and fullscreen. It's so good. It's five and a half minutes of awesome and you won't regret it. Thanks to Seth for sharing this with me. Good find!
And no, they're not models.
And yes, you should just watch it in HD. Just do it.

I'd Love To Go To Vancouver
Vancouver by Minute Impressions from Alexandre Klinke on Vimeo.
Posting more than a photo a day has been a struggle with the Olympics in full swing. I'm not there to see the games in person but I've been watching every evening and with coverage ending around 11:30pm PST, TV time has really cut into photo time.
There will still be at least a photo a day (and maybe more?) but for now, with Vancouver on the world stage, I wanted to share this. Found this over at Poppytalk and really enjoyed it. It's brief, eye catching, and makes me want to visit Vancouver someday. I hope I can make that happen sooner than later.
