Is is polaroid week? Remember when I had that grand idea for polaroid Mondays....that lasted one week. I seem to have a lot grand plans that go by the way of polaroid mondays...remember straight blade shaving??

I am totally jumping into your conversation, but I love the idea of Polaroid Mondays. I can even send you both a camera and some film!

HA, Neems! It's not polaroid week anymore. We just missed it! Did you see the Polaroid week on Flickr? Chinako posted some really awesome photos.

Chinako, done! I like Nimish's idea for Polaroid Mondays, too. We really should do it! I've been wanting to get a camera for a while now and maybe actually committing to a new project will motivate me to search and find a good one. Then I won't be taking one off your hands! Any suggestions?

The SLR 680 is my camera of choice although I've been reaching for my SX-70 quite a bit these days. They're a bit more expensive than the newer ones that you can find at any thrift store, but since you can manually focus on both of these and turn off the flash (the SX-70 uses flashbars that you have to purchase separately), you get a much nicer photo.

Some folks will tell you to invest in a packfilm camera, but that's a whole different realm of Polaroid.

I have a bunch of them lying around if you want to borrow one indefinitely. Yikes. I sound like such a Polaroid geek.
