Then This Happened: Part 247

I spent a lot of time looking up during the two days that I spent in the city. The architecture and design package that New York City puts together is jaw-droppingly cool.

In the Big Apple for a couple of days and I'm liking it a lot. I think I was ten or eleven years old the last time I was in this city. It's good to be back.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy Birthday to my not-so-little brother!

As the eldest in the family, I am now accepting hand-me-downs from my youngest brother. Sheesh.

Then This Happened: Part 238

I missed posting a photo yesterday because I spent the entire day driving through the endless farmland of Middle America. There just isn't much you can do when you're behind the wheel and in transit for a good fourteen hours straight. We've arrived, though. And all in one piece no less!

So with yesterday's missed photo, today is a twofer!

Then This Happened: Part 233

Long day but at least I managed to grab In-N-Out on my way out of
California. My last Double Double for a while.

Got a late start to the drive today and ended up leaving at 1:00p PST.
Arrived home at 3:30a MST. It's probably time for bed.

Then This Happened: Part 230

I have a good friend who's developing a pretty strong interest in the green movement and sustainable energy and learning about his newfound interest reminded me of this photo. I remember taking this for the roads and the lines that they etched into the landscape. Later, I took a closer look and realized what I had actually photographed. Windmills!

Wind power to the people, people.

I'm really going to miss good IPA's after I've made my move to the Midwest. You just can't find the same solid beer out there that you can up and down the West Coast. Here's to hoping that I'm pleasantly surprised and proven wrong but for now, I'll chalk it up as a sacrifice.

Therapy. Not for me but for a friend.

I once almost bought a set of Callaways as a Christmas present for my dad. I was in China at the time and the $2000 set was being sold for $600 USD. I chickened out.
