Then This Happened: Part 553

San Fran from on high. It was a pretty touristy thing to do but visiting the top of Coit Tower was actually pretty nice. The views made it all worthwhile.

Then This Happened: Part 552

The trouble with knowing so many people who live in San Francisco is that there's no way to see everyone during a two day visit. It's pretty much impossible. I guess my plan from here on out is to visit more often.

Another old Porsche makes an appearance on my blog. I think Porsches get a bad wrap, sometimes for good reason, but I like the old ones. And who am I kidding, I'd happily drive a new one too. Twist my arm.

Breakfast sandwich. It was delicious and it will be happening again. Breakfast is an important meal and I should make it count more often.

If working for Anchor Steam means spending my days in a building constructed in the 1930's, wearing a white jumpsuit and black rubber boots, and brewing good beer all day then sign me up.

Be sure to check out Anchor Brewing if you're ever in San Francisco and find yourself with some free time. The tour is FREE and it's one of the better free things I've done lately.

There was a run that we used to do back in college that was coined "Townsend." It was only a few miles long if I remember correctly and it became a favorite for a quick shakeout around the neighborhood or for tacking on a few extra miles for the day. If we needed something slightly longer and still close to home then we would do an "Extended Townsend." Fairly self-explanatory, right? "Townsend" treated us well back then so when I saw this I just couldn't help myself.

Steel mesh windows are fantastic. I want them at home. Not sure how that would work out but I'm confident it would be pretty great.

15 Romolo. Super duper excellent. Their cocktails are made with plenty of care and they do take a little bit to reach you but as long as you can be patient, you won't be disappointed. I would go back in a heartbeat.
