A Seattle Staple
Ivar's is such a fixture in Seattle that it's even in the city airport. Which is awesome. I don't think there has been a single time that my family and I have been to Seattle and not gone to Ivar's for the fish'n chips and one order of clams. If you ever go, try the Ivar's down by the ferry for the experience. Feed the seagulls, check out the fire boats, and enjoy the air. Beyond that, just head to the Lake Union spot for a lower key (and usually less busy) meal. And if you're pressed for time and don't get some Ivar's while you're in town, at least now you know you can snag a bite at the airport on your way out.
